The salary confirmation must state the monthly salary in Hong Kong dollars (HKD). The IANG scheme is one pathway to establishing the continuous ordinary residence in Hong Kong that is required for an application for the right of abode (permanent residency) under the Immigration Ordinance (Cap. 115).
